DESIGN “PACKAGES”

You can choose different packages separately, depending on your needs. All the design packages are charged by the square foot, and based on my hourly rate of $60.00

1.

Concept Board/Idea Board: 

Digital visualization of design ideas, including colors, furniture, lighting, style, accessories - minimum of 3 different concepts. >> Learn more!

Technical Drawing:

Floor plan, furniture layout, lighting and plumbing plan, elevations, 3D drawings (Sketchup).

• Space Planning & Furniture Layout: Let me help you figure out the perfect layout of your space. I can provide sketches, technical floor plan layouts, or just come over to help you to move the furniture to see what works best! Sometimes re-arranging existing furniture or moving items from room to room is all a space needs.

Decluttering:

Not sure what to keep and what to get rid of? We’ll look at what you already own and what you love, and will use and incorporate these items in the design. We’ll also look at what is holding you back, what we cannot use, and what you need to let go.

Furniture Selection:

Sometimes all it needs is a re-arrangement of the space, sometimes you have to go out there and do some research. Let me assist you with that! We have a broad variety of local stores: antiques, consignment, retail, home furnishing, dealers (affordable through high end), as well as a wide range of online furniture and decor sources I can help navigate.

Material Selection:

Fabric | Upholstery | Wallpaper | Flooring | Backsplash | Countertop | Cabinetry | Rug & Carpet

Endless possibilities! Concrete, Wood, Metal, Cork, Vinyl, Glass, Velvet, Cotton, Wool…these are only a selection of the world of materials out there! Are you overwhelmed by all those choices? Let me educate you about different materials and help you finding what suits your specific needs. I work closely with different vendors, both local and online.

Custom Textile & Rug Design:

Do you want to add one completely unique and customized item into your home? I can design your dream rug, blanket, pillow, table cloth! Trained and experienced in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Freehand, I am absolutely passionate about designing patterns myself! Since I was able to hold a pen, I have been creating colors, objects, patterns and figures.

Custom Design of Murals, Wall Borders & Stencils:

Mural = from murus (lat.) = wall: Painting on wall. A beautiful and qualitative alternative to wallpaper is a wall or ceiling mural. One of the original forms of decorative art and dating to ancient times, murals are back in style! Let me design the perfect custom scene for your home.

If you are just looking for some detail to spruce/dress up your walls , a border/stencil can be your perfect choice! I can design and paint a beautiful pattern for you!

Stenciling is such a fun way to add some character into your space! On floors, it can be painted instead of using a rug, such as in a mudroom or kitchen, or in front of a vanity.

Lighting:

Lighting is so crucial! Without electric light, our lives would be greatly more difficult, if not impossible. The right lighting is an essential factor in the style and ambience of your home! Think about where outlets are located, for a floor lamp in a large living room, or for appliances in the kitchen. It all makes a difference! Besides the functional part, with beautiful lighting fixtures, you can make a statement—you can add colors, a different texture, and temperature. Just like colors, lighting can be warm or cold, so you want to choose your lighting depending on the feeling you are trying to obtain. Additionally, lighting changes every single color in the room, so you want to include lighting into all your design steps

Artwork Selection:

A piece of art, whether it is a painting, sculpture or photography, can change your life! It will certainly change the overall appearance of the room it is in. Besides being beautiful, art adds a deeper purpose to the space. I am happy to say I am always trying to support our local artists as much as I can! Sometimes, a unique piece or art is all you need to update and balance your space. It might be the one key accent you were looking for.

Accessories & Plants:

I often think about these three vital elements in any room—to make a space to feel “homey” and comfortable: Artwork - Lighting - Plants. These three are a must to every room if you want the energy to flow and harmonize.
